Impressive? Yes. Revolutionary? Perhaps.

Worth the hype leading up to an exclusive dev/media event which is not broadcast live for public viewing? Certainly not.

Here’s why we think the Apple iPad just plain sucks.

The copter itself is computer-stabilized, so controlling it is much easier than the standard $40 toy RC helicopter you may be familiar with. But it should be: it’ll cost in the neighborhood of $500, when it ships this summer. You tilt your iPhone to steer the helicopter, with touch controls to adjust altitude. You’ll never absent mindedly leave your phone behind or let some jerk take your wallet again thanks to the iWallet. It connects to your phone via bluetooth and sounds an alarm whenever it’s more than 10 feet away from your phone. And if you’re enough of a tool to lose both your wallet AND your phone you can at least be grateful that no one can steal your identity from the hard case Kevlar or Carbon Fiber case that requires your thumb print to get in.
